Designing your Track
Overview
In Rift Rally, YOU get to design the ultimate racetrack, limited only by your creativity! You can mix it up and build a completely new track at any time and experience racing and challenges in entirely new ways.
Place Gates in Order
Place your gates in your play space. Your track should go through the numbered side of each gate. The numbered side represents the FRONT of the gate.
Tracks should create a loop by ensuring that the 4th gate eventually leads back to the first.
Tips for Placement
- Avoid sharp turns just before a gate to ensure that the Chameleon has time to be able to see the gate.
- Objects on the track may be difficult to see when racing - try to keep the path clear.
- Ensure that gates are in well lit areas where they can be easily seen.
- You are free to make any track shape that you would like as long as the course flows through each gate in order.
Driving the Path
After V charges the Chameleon and prepares it for mapping the course, you must drive through each gate in order, then complete the track by returning to the starting point.
The path you take when moving to the next gate can be whatever you like, so don’t be afraid to incorporate interesting elements in your home such as a detour under a table or behind the couch on your way to the next gate!
