Overview
Using a direct connection is a quick and easy way to get the Chameleon up and running, especially if you're planning to play in the same room as your PlayStation4/ PlayStation 5. To utilize direct connection, your PlayStation®4/ PlayStation®5 must not be connected to a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection.
Scanning QR Code
Point your Chameleon’s camera at the QR code being displayed on your screen. Your Chameleon’s Rift Engine LED will flash GREEN when it has successfully detected the QR Code and will then return to pulsing BLUE as it attempts to connect to the software.
If your Chameleon’s Rift Engine LED flashes RED and then returns to pulsing BLUE, try adjusting the distance and angle to the QR code.
If your Chameleon fails to read the QR code, or fails to establish a connection, see the next page for additional information.
Trouble Connecting
If the Chameleon is not reading the QR code and the Rift Engine LED is continuing to pulse BLUE, try increasing brightness of the screen displaying the QR code and ensuring that the Chameleon’s camera lens is clean and has a direct line of sight to the code.
